Toy Museum in Mechelen Ready to Welcome Young and Old from Saturday: "New Location and Much More Interactive"

The new Toy Museum in Mechelen is set to welcome its first visitors on Saturday. The museum has moved from its old location at the Mechelen-Nekkerspoel station to the main station in Mechelen. The collection has also been significantly refreshed and is now more interactive.

The museum currently welcomes 50,000 visitors per year. "We hope to grow to 80,000 visitors per year in the coming years."

"The new museum has landed a dream location at Mechelen’s main hub," says Mayor Bart Somers (For Mechelen). "Mechelen station is now an even more important stop for children, as you can easily reach both Planckendael and Technopolis from here. It’s an incredible boost for our city’s family-friendly image."
